Three Ziph Performance Automation Systems were put in gins in 2010.
All three gins broke their record bales per day, which turned
into record weeks.
Three gins, Midkiff Farmers Co-op, New Home Co-op, and Rotan Gin Co. are the
gins that have the complete Ziph Performance Automation feeder systems in place.
100 to 250 bales per day increase with the Ziph Performance Automation System.
Requirements? You have to have a steadyflow and a live overflow in your gin.
The rest is history because the Ziph system will work with ANY brand of equipment
you may presently have in your gin.
Let me explain why our steadyflow controller is different from any other on the market.
Every steadyflow controller to date uses electronic eyes in the hopper to control the module feeder.
The hopper is constantly filling full, then empting out. The rate of cotton that flows out of the steadyflow hopper feed rollers varies greatly when the hopper is full or empty, a very important concept with performance automation.
The ginners fight this problem all day and all night.

The Ziph Steadyflow Controller is completely different because of our exclusive sensor in the steadyflow hopper. We simply slow down the module bed, but we don't stop it. As the level in the hopper goes down, we speed the module bed up, and keep a constant level
in the hopper without starting and stopping the bed all the time. The reason other
companies don't operate their module beds this way is because they don't have the correct sensor in the hopper..

Ziph High Performance Gin Stand Controllers. These controllers are designed to control the load on the gin saw by automatically speeding up or slowing down the feeder motor at the correct time. This will provide the consistency of taking the manual controls out of the equation and letting the electronics work, which is always more efficient. The gin stand controllers will gain extra bales per day simply because they always keep the gin saws loaded to their capacity, 24/7.
Ziph Overflow Controller. This system uses the above controllers and incorporates another controller that controls the speed of the steadyflow feed rollers to keep the gin stands full of cotton all the time. It uses a sensor in the overflow hopper, and along with the communications to each gin stand (to sense the speed of each individual gin stand) it will automatically speed up the steadyflow feed rollers if the overflow hopper level goes down, and also slow them down when the overflow hopper level goes up. It also automatically adjusts to the changing speeds of the individual gin stands.
This is how the complete system works. The gin stands control the speed of the whole system. As they automatically speed up or slow down, the overflow hopper adjusts the speed of the steadyflow feed rollers accordingly. And as the steadyflow hopper level changes, the steadyflow controller adjusts the module feeder beds accordingly.
You will be able to press a button, your module feeder will start. It will fill the steadyflow hopper to the correct level, the steadyflow feed roller will feed the cotton into the gin. As each gin stand fills, the steadyflow feed rollers will continue to fill the distributor until the overflow hopper is at the correct level.
What you end up with is tremendous consistency because your automatic gin stands keep the gin saws loaded, the steadyflow feed roller controller keeps the gin stands full and the steadyflow controller runs the module feeder at the correct speed to keep the steadyflow
hopper at the correct level.
Ziph is not about gin automation. We are all about performance automation.
Our only goal is to get more bales per day through your gin, and the benefit to you is
more "cream off the top" which is more profit in your pocket.
